Big Sacrifices don't have to be made all the time but small ones are made everyday in my business. I may work from home the majority of the time but that does not mean I get to sit around and watch TV or do nothing at all. I have worked into the wee hours of the morning numerous times and still had to get up and get my children ready for school. Sleep is the main sacrifice that I have encountered, but it is all completely worth it in the end because the more I work, the more I see it paying off.
Dedication is the key to running your own business. Being dedicated means working when you're tired, working on vacation, working while you're eating, etc. As a business owner I see opportunities everywhere I go. I believe in my business so even if I'm on vacation or having dinner in a restaurant, I am always waiting on the next opportunity to share my business. My business has become my life and not in a bad way as so might think. I love to talk about my business and share the incredible accomplishments that my team has encountered. It is so exciting to me and the success makes me even more dedicated!
When you're dedicated, consistency follows right behind. I truly believe that you can't have consistency without dedication because dedication for me means, always going the extra mile to make my business better and that brings consistency with it. A lot of people like to slack off in the winter months but that doesn't build a strong business. To be consistent, you must work hard all year round and brainstorm ways to make your business better! Always going above and beyond the call of duty will help you stay on track and be more consistent.
