I set goals for myself. My goal every day is to reach out to at least 10 people a day (strangers) about the opportunity and products. This is either by phone or email. It's every important that I fit that in my day because this is what I do full time. I have to continue to run my business just like I did when I first started just because I'm an Ambassador doesn't mean I stop working my business. FYI - I'm still recruiting and building every day! I also have a new 20 team that I created in January 2015 with already over 400 distributors. I'm working with my team members and helping them reach their goals. I don't chase after people. I make myself available as much as possible. I love to help others. Most days I go out wearing my IT Works T-Shirt and if I run out of those (because that happens) I will wear my IT Works hat or something green and black. While I'm out, I'm carrying my blitz cards and business cards. My trunk is always packed with a box full of products just in case someone calls and needs me to come wrap them. I'm always prepared. Be prepared at ALL TIMES! I may have meetings with potential DT's or one on one trainings with new DT's. I'm also able to fit time in with my family. I make sure that I have balance in my life. I'm home with the family as much as possible. I spend quality time with my hubby! This is what I retired and made the decision to own my own business. Freedom! Happiness! I own my own time so I can do what I want, when I want.... but I'm STILL working my business EVERY SINGLE DAY.
My Personal Tips!
Go out every single day with this on your mind "who's life am I going to bless and change today?" That's what I do. This business has changed my life so much. I want to share it with everyone. Set goals every day. The night before write down what your goal is for the next day. It works for me, I am very competitive and I don't like to quit unless I have completed what needs to be done. I'm like that with everything. I refuse to fall. Don't be afraid. As I told y'all before I am a yellow. And for a yellow you have to work a little harder. We are very mild mannered. I had to push myself to talk to people when I started this business. I was a little shy, plus I was used to people coming to me all the time. I had to get used to me approaching and asking people. I had to push myself and just do it. Especially if I wanted my business to grow! No one was going to talk for me so I had to do it. Don't be afraid. If you hear no, its ok! I still hear no but I'm so confident now, I just move on to the next. Brush it off, get yourself together, and just do it!
